Soundskrit has developed a high-performance MEMS microphone that is able to replace traditional microphone arrays with a superior solution. First previewed at CES 2018 to much fanfare, Soundskrit's high-performance directional microphones technology combines hardware and software. The company now announced the availability of its first product, the SKR0400, the world’s first directional MEMS microphone built for the needs of current and future consumer electronics product designs.

Klippel has now released their second software update for the Klippel Analyzer System with various new features for both R&D and QC applications. The update is free of charge for all users running dB-Lab 212 or QC7. It introduces a utility Documentation Module (DOC) for use in dB-Lab, TEDS integration for microphones, and updates for the QC Stand-alone Software.

Audio-Technica introduced the ATND1061 Beamforming Ceiling Array Microphone, designed for conference rooms, boardrooms and meeting spaces from large to small. The new microphone array was designed as a complete system, including dedicated software to manage its six channels into zones, and already features all required DSP with automix, echo cancellation and noise reduction algorithms. The ATND1061 is also available with optional Dante networking, powered over Ethernet.

DSP Concepts, the creator of the Audio Weaver development framework that powers sound and voice functionality for many of the world's leading consumer and automotive brands, announced that it is working with Samsung on a new concept product. Introduced at CES 2022, "The Freestyle" is a portable projector with an integrated smart speaker. DSP Concepts collaborated with Samsung to provide voice pre-processing to ensure accurate voice command recognition.
