Mytek Audio Now Shipping All-New Liberty DAC II

Mytek Audio just announced the all-new Liberty DAC II, touted as "the new portal for all things digital from Mytek Audio." Capable of exceptional quality playback and monitoring of all high resolution digital formats in both PCM up to 768kHz, and DSD up to 256, the Liberty DAC II also includes a built-in certified hardware MQA decoder and a reference grade headphone amplifier capable of driving complex headphone loads.

New York-based Mytek Digital revealed the details on its new Empire DAC/Streamer/Preamplifier, supposed to be the flagship of a new Empire series of very high-end audio products. As the company describes, this is an "all out" assault on the state-of-the-art, establishing Mytek as a top echelon player in the high-performance audio arena. The Streamer will be “Powered by Roon OS” and features an internal Roon Core that can drive both the ultra-high performance Empire DAC and external Roon endpoints.

At CES 2018, Mytek confirmed the shipping date for its new Clef portable DAC, which was unveiled precisely a year ago at the Las Vegas industry event. Now available for pre-order, the new Mytek Clef is an ergonomic hi-res audio headphone amplifier and DAC, offering up to 32bit/384kHz PCM, DSD 128, and 120dB of dynamic range, with driverless USB Class 2, MQA unfolding capability, plus aptX Bluetooth and AAC for improved Bluetooth audio streaming.

The New York digital audio specialists from Mytek Digital have showcased two brand new products at High End Munich 2017, starting with the highly portable Clef mobile headphone amplifier USB/DAC with MQA, which the company previewed earlier at the High-Resolution Audio Pavilion at CES 2017. The other news is the launch of a brand new Class-D design for their newest amplifier, aptly called the Brooklyn AMP, following the same form factor of the Brooklyn DAC.
