Pico Technology Introduces New PicoScope 4000A Series PC-Based Oscilloscopes

Pico Technology announced availability of the new PicoScope 4000A Series PC-based oscilloscopes, a second-generation upgrade and expansion of the company's high-resolution, deep-memory product portfolio. With 2-, 4- and 8-channel models available, the PicoScope 4000A Series boasts 12-bit hardware resolution (to 16 bits with Resolution Enhancement), 256 MS deep capture memory, 20 MHz bandwidth with 80 MS/s sampling speed, up to 70 dB SFDR and a built-in 14-bit triggerable signal generator and 80 MS/s AWG. A SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface powers the instrument and delivers up to 160 MS/s communications to the host PC.

RME Audio, the German manufacturer of premium audio interfaces, has announced today that its interfaces are already compatible with the latest macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 which was released in November 2020. RME interfaces are now compatible with both Intel-based and the new M1 ARM-based Mac systems running the latest Apple OS. The company announced the end of alpha development phase and the release of CLIO pocket 2.12 x64 software, the much requested and highly anticipated 64-bit enabled release of CLIO pocket which runs under the latest macOS 10.15 Catalina - which dropped support for 32-bit applications and strengthened the security requirements for applications distributed outside the App Store.
