Crestron Updates Home OS 4 Control Platform and Launches New DM NAX Audio-over-IP Products

Crestron Electronics announced Crestron Home OS 4 will debut at CEDIA Expo 2023 reinforcing the company's position in the global home automation market. The updated platform refines the smart home experience, showcasing a new look and feel with further personalization. Crestron Home OS 4 includes the ability for dealers to add almost any third-party lighting device to the system, and allows homeowners to do more without the need to call for assistance. Crestron is also introducing new DM NAX AoIP devices, including its first GaN multizone amplifier and more useful audio peripherals.

Denon DJ, an inMusic brand, just announced a brand-new, cutting-edge PRIME 4+ standalone controller, the first in its class to contain all the mixing and processing features that typically require an external laptop. The Denon DJ PRIME 4+ features Stems separation technology so DJs can isolate vocals or instruments with the tap of a finger and adds next-level features to the world’s most powerful standalone DJ system, including full wireless streaming music accessibility with larger controls and jog wheels.

Florida-based inMusic Brands, the music technology hardware and software company founded by Jack O'Donnell, which already owns some of the most powerful brands in the DJ, Music Production and Musical Instrument industries, announced the acquisition of Belgium company ArKaos, the world's reference in VJ software and the pioneer in combining light, video and LED in a single visual server and control software solution. ArKaos is also the company who introduced the Kling-Net protocol, a global de-fact standard for lighting control and Remote Device Management (RDM).

Updated. sonoro audio, a German designer and engineer of luxury audio solutions, launched its Kickstarter campaign to deliver the Cubo, its design award-winning sound system, to the U.S. market later this year. Funding sourced through Kickstarter would allow sonoro audio to cover development, testing and production costs for the U.S. market. Before its term, sonoro cancelled the campaign due to lack of support.
