Sennheiser Launches High-Quality IE 80S Bluetooth In-Ear Neckband with LHDC Codec Support

While the popularity of high-quality in-ears continues to rise globally, so does the popularity of wireless Bluetooth solutions which are appreciated for its convenience. Sennheiser has products for all those segments and with its latest IE 80S BT model it is trying to combine the high-quality experience that music enthusiasts demand, featuring hi-res audio with the addition of LHDC support, with the convenience that a wireless neckband design still affords. At any moment, users can also detach the neckband and use the IE 80S BT in wired mode.

beyerdynamic will use the Munich High End show (May 10-13) to promote the availability of its Aventho wired headphones, the latest in high-quality mobile mid-size headphones with Tesla technology, which will be arriving to the stores that week. At the High End 2018 show beyerdynamic will be also promoting its latest wireless headphones like the Aventho wireless, Xelento wireless or Amiron wireless, with Mimi sound personalization technology.

Audio-Technica is now shipping its ATH-DSR9BT Wireless Headphones with Pure Digital Drive technology. Winner of a CES 2017 Innovation award, the ATH-DSR9BT is one of the first headphones with Bluetooth wireless technology to employ Audio-Technica's new Pure Digital Drive system, which keeps the audio signal completely digital from source to driver to offer a new level in sound quality.

Sony unveiled its new audio product lineup scheduled for release in 2015 at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas with a total of ten new devices, including a Hi-Res compatible top-of-the-line Walkman, headphones, wireless speakers, home theater systems, and multi-channel integrated amplifiers.
