beyerdynamic to Signal Official Launch of New Aventho Wired Headphones at High End 2018

April 30 2018, 02:00
beyerdynamic will use the Munich High End show (May 10-13) to promote the availability of its Aventho wired headphones, the latest in high-quality mobile mid-size headphones with Tesla technology, which will be arriving to the stores that week. At the High End 2018 show beyerdynamic will be also promoting its latest wireless headphones like the Aventho wireless, Xelento wireless or Amiron wireless, with Mimi sound personalization technology.

beyerdynamic continues to redefine mobile listening delight for consumers, now with the closed mid-size Aventho wired headphones, which combine stylish looks, maximum comfort, selected materials and the legendary Tesla technology from the German company. These headphones offer combine the latest in sound quality and richness of detail previously unknown from on-ear models.

Already available in a wireless version, the mobile, timeless look the new Aventho family already won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018, and the new Aventho wired is being promoted as the ideal companion for audiophile music lovers who prefer a high-quality cable connection – no matter if on the road or at home.

The new Aventho wired bridges the gap between classic, timelessly designed mobile headphones and innovative next-generation audio technology from beyerdynamic. The German brand believes that once listeners experience the superiority of its beyerdynamic Tesla transducers - a milestone in the more than 90-year history of the Heilbronn-based audio specialist - they would not want to go back to regular headphone technology. In addition, the Aventho wired is Hi-Res Audio certified and thus able to process high-resolution audio files.

Designed to be mobile, the new beyerdynamic Aventho wired offers this unique sound quality in a compact format that has been tailor-made for the needs of today. The headphones can be folded up effortlessly thanks to its rotatable housing shells, while an integrated three-button remote control and a high-quality hands-free microphone on the cable make it possible to control the media playback on the smartphone or tablet or to answer calls at any time. Optionally, the Aventho wired can be coupled with the latest high-res DAC / headphone amplifier Impacto universal from beyerdynamic to get the most out of all digital audio files – on iOS and Android mobile devices as well as on PCs or notebooks. A practical and high-quality combination to take high resolution audio listening anywhere.

Built by hand in Germany, the Aventho wired is testimony of the brand's highest craftsmanship and longevity. Every detail has been tailored, with comfortable soft cushions, and the precisely balanced contact pressure of the low-vibration brackets made of high-grade stainless steel to ensure a perfect fit. Thanks to their design, these headphones also provide excellent shielding against ambient noise.

The beyerdynamic Aventho wired will become available online and in retail from the beginning of May 2018. It is available in black or brown. The recommended retail price is 329.00 euros (including VAT).

Wireless Personalization
In 2017, beyerdynamic laid the foundation for a new generation of headphones with the closed mid-size Aventho wireless. Due to its mobile design, select materials, Tesla transducers and support for Qualcomm aptX HD and AAC, Aventho wireless received the CES 2018 Innovation Award, the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018 and many more industry awards.

What makes the Aventho wireless and the other new wireless headphones from beyerdynamic stand out is their individual sound personalization. With this innovative technology by Mimi Hearing Technologies, the wireless beyerdynamic headphones are dynamically adjusted to the personal hearing capability of the user. Even the finest nuances become perceivable again without having to turn up the volume – as if the hearing had been rejuvenated. Better hearing and protecting the ears at the same time.

These new products from beyerdynamic can be experienced live at the High End 2018 on the MOC grounds in Hall 4, booth U02, from 10th to 13th May in Munich, Germany. Visitors can also try the Mimi sound personalization with different beyerdynamic wireless family headphones - the Aventho wireless, Xelento wireless, and Amiron wireless headphones (pictured below) - in a special listening cabin.

With innovative sound personalization by Mimi Hearing Technologies and the beyerdynamic Make It Yours app (MIY app), the German audio specialists have created a new generation of mobile headphones, combining the unlimited mobility of wireless models with outstanding sound quality. A six-minute hearing test in the free beyerdynamic "Make It Yours" app for iOS and Android is sufficient to calculate an individual hearing profile. The data is stored directly in the headphones so that the digital sound personalization works independently of the audio source. If the test is carried out on a regular basis, even the tiniest changes in hearing can be compensated. At the same time, the MIY app allows users to record their daily listening habits and make various other settings on the headphones to improve and personalize them even further.
