beyerdynamic Launches Aesthetically Refined Amiron Wireless Copper Headphones

October 8 2019, 01:10
beyerdynamic announced the new Amiron Wireless Copper over-the-ear headphones, designed to be used with portable audio devices, but featuring exceptional sound quality and a sophisticated design. Expanding on the original Amiron model introduced in 2018, the Amiron Wireless Copper combines a soft Alcantara headband with an updated Bluetooth system with aptX HD and AAC support, creating what the company describes as "the ultimate headphone for music and design enthusiasts."

The Amiron wireless copper incorporates natural, high-quality copper material on the exterior of the headphone to create a unique design. "Characterized by a decorative ring made of solid copper in the headphones, the exterior design pays tribute to the conductivity of the copper, typically used in headphone cables and voice coil wires. The copper ring gives an indication of the heart of the headphone, traditionally designed as an internal copper voice coil wire that is located on the same axis as the outer copper ring," Alan Feckanin, Director Americas for beyerdynamic explains.

“Amiron wireless copper create an unrivaled listening experience with legendary sound quality and elegant design. With a soft anthracite headband made of Alcantara, the Amiron wireless copper is not only aesthetically unique, but it provides users with an uncompromisingly perfect fit for long-lasting listening comfort. The Amiron wireless copper combines statement design, incredible comfort, and the latest in audio technology to create the ultimate headphone for audio enthusiasts,” he adds.

Like other recent beyerdynamic headphones, the Amiron wireless copper features the latest Tesla driver technology, in this case optimized for a wireless Bluetooth model, and combined with MOSAYC sound personalization by Mimi Defined, allowing the user to create their own individual hearing profile. The headphones also provide intuitive touchpad controls integrated in the right ear cup and support aptX HD and AAC codecs, plus aptX Low Latency for low-delay audio with Bluetooth. The battery runtime provides over 30 hours of listening time, but the headphones can also be used in wired mode.

The Amiron wireless copper headphones retail for $799.00, include a hardcase,  1.2m cable with remote control and microphone (3.5 mm jack, 4-pole), charging cable USB-A to USB-C and are available for purchase online.
