The Audio Industry Mourns the Loss of George Krampera

KV2 Audio has confirmed the news of the passing of its founder and industry pioneer George Krampera Sr. A true sound reinforcement visionary, Krampera devoted the last decades of his life to the professional audio company he founded in Milevsko, Czech Republic. But his name will be also remembered for his pioneering work with RCF, from where he left to work at B&C Speakers, and later to create Fussion, a new company in partnership with Marcelo Vercelli, which was eventually bought by Mackie, which subsequently also bought RCF.

KV2 Audio, the professional audio company founded by George Krampera, announced the ESM312, a very high output, 3-way, passive monitoring solution using two bass reflex loaded 12" neo woofers, a single horn loaded 6“ midrange woofer and a 1” compression driver. Housed in a professional robust Baltic Birch cabinet, with a protective polymer paint coating and heavy-duty grille, the ESM312 was designed for large scale stage monitoring applications, where quick and easy set up is required.

Italian loudspeaker manufacturer RCF celebrates a 25-year history of ART speakers by introducing the ninth generation of the series, with a new design and 6 active speaker models to choose from. All models share the best-in-class 2,100 Watt two-channel Class-D amplifier with advanced DSP processing. Created with music in mind and manufactured by RCF in Italy, the new ART 9 Series resets the standard in portable professional audio.

Pro audio loudspeaker manufacturer KV2 Audio is recognized for the quality of its analog engineering. When it comes to the amplification stages, the company founded by audio veteran George Krampera created a range of products that reflect the brand's engineering philosophy. KV2 named its new D Series amplifiers in reference to the onboard digital control and diagnostics features. The very first deployment of D Series amplifiers is at the Volksoper or People’s Opera in Vienna, where 56 units are already in use every day.
