Origin Acoustics Named US Brand Manager for Bang & Olufsen in the Custom Channel

Origin Acoustics is breaking new ground for custom integrators with the announcement of an expanded partnership with Bang & Olufsen in the US. Since 2016, Origin Acoustics has been collaborating with Bang & Olufsen on the co-design and manufacturing of certain architectural loudspeakers. Now, Origin has been named US Brand Manager for Bang & Olufsen’s full portfolio in the custom channel.

To expand the options available to integrators and system designers, across more installations, in more locations, Renkus-Heinz now incorporates its UniBeam steerable technology in passive columns with the launch of the PCX Series. The US-based loudspeaker manufacturer unveiled the new PCX Series at Integrated Systems Europe show in Barcelona. Renown for its digitally steerable arrays, the Californian company developed a custom passive filter network to control the columns' dispersion pattern.

CEDIA, the global trade association for the home technology industry, released the 2021 Integrated Home Market Analysis. The results highlight the strength and stability of the estimated $20.1B integrated home market. In partnership with with market research firm Ancrage Consulting, the survey's findings reveals promising insights on products, trends, and growth opportunities from business leaders and integrators in the home technology sector.

Origin Acoustics announced the appointment of Joe Whitaker as the company's new VP of Business Development. Joe Whitaker has been a longtime ally and supporter of Origin Acoustics, having worked with the manufacturer of architectural audio and electronics on more than a few product developments as a consultant and contributor. "He brings a great deal of custom integration industry expertise, insight, and knowledge to the table," says Nick Berry, CEO of Origin Acoustics.
