JBL Introduces New Architectural Speakers At CEDIA 2015

JBL expanded its architectural home speaker lines for the custom home-audio installation market at the 2015 CEDIA Expo. The new JBL Studio 2 and Arena Series in-wall and in-ceiling speakers expand the existing models in the line with a completely new design and feature the same waveguide technology from JBL’s M2 Master Reference Monitor.

James Loudspeaker announced the addition of the MQ84/MQ84A mid/high frequency modules to their Mavericks home theater lineup. This highly efficient 4-way loudspeaker was designed to enhance immersive experiences for all surround formats in combination with the M152 dual 15-inch subwoofer, creating a stackable no-compromise full range solution.

At the Integrated Systems Europe 2015 show in Amsterdam, audio-visual concealment specialist Stealth Acoustics introduced several innovative products, starting with the introduction of the on-wall Image III and CoverArt invisible speakers to the European markets. Other highlights included new StingRay outdoor high fidelity speakers and a new subwoofer amplifier.

Custom made-in-the-USA manufacturer Triad Speakers, showed its new Dolby Atmos-enabled loudspeaker at the ISE 2015 show, in Amsterdam. The Bronze LR-H loudspeaker, developed for Dolby Atmos was joined by a new InRoom and OnWall Bronze SlimSub series and new R-Series of cost-effective, but aesthetically-pleasing in-ceiling loudspeakers.

AudioControl hosted a press conference at the ISE 2015 show to introduce its most recent line of U.S.-made home-theater and installation processors and amplifiers. The highlights included the European debut of the compact amplifier/DAC, Bijou 600, recently awarded CEA Audio Product of the Year at the CES 2015 show.
