New UK AV Company Lithe Audio Launches Innovative Bluetooth Ceiling Speakers

Bluetooth speakers are one of the leading product categories in consumer electronics and consumers certainly are starting to rely on the convenience of this wireless audio protocol to stream audio from a smartphone, tablet or computer. Now, Lithe Audio, a young UK-based AV brand decided to expand the scope of Bluetooth technology also to installation ceiling speakers, allowing an easy expansion of multizone audio in any room, from the bathroom to the kitchen or bedroom.

Stealth Acoustics introduced its new Stealth LR4g Invisible Speaker at the ISE 2016 show in Amsterdam, allowing great sounding Dolby ATMOS home theaters without impacting the visual environment. “Nobody wants to see more ceiling clutter. Focal North America announced new 300 Series of in-wall / in-ceiling speakers (ICW) with three models offering ease of installation and flexible design. All speakers are two way models and can be fitted as a stand-alone hi-fi system or in combination in a multi-speaker setup, including immersive audio installations as ceiling speakers.

At the 2015 InfoComm show in Orlando, Klipsch announced the launch of its KI Series II permanent installation speakers with seven new speaker models, available in three finishes – black, white and a stainable raw. All the new “made in the USA” speakers use Klipsch’s proprietary Tractrix Horn technology.

Denon and Marantz announced a unique upgrade offer to bring three-dimensional audio format Auro-3D to their recently introduced Premium AV Receivers. Expected to be available in December, a firmware upgrade will further enhance the feature set of the highly-acclaimed Denon AVR-X5200W and the AVR-X4100W models and Marantz SR7009 and AV7702 receiver and pre-amp / processor.
