Pro Audio Technology Now Shipping Line of Modular Multichannel Amplifiers

Amidst worldwide supply chain issues, Pro Audio Technology (PRO) - a manufacturer of high-output loudspeakers and DSP loudspeaker controllers - created the MA series to provide its integrators with a reliable and available amplifier solution for systems designed with PRO and third-party audio products. Originally announced at the time of CEDIA 2021, the new line of modular multichannel amplifiers consists of five models, the MA-4400, MA-4242, MA-9900, MA-9942, and MA-9999.

Origin Acoustics displayed several new products at CEDIA 2021, a show which only a few hundred people attended. Spatial, the immersive audio experience company, and luxury audio brand Steinway Lyngdorf, announced a native digital integration of Spatial’s real-time immersive audio Spatial Reality engine for Steinway Lyngdorf’s audio processors. The integration will provide object-based immersive sound with improved fidelity for music enthusiasts and home-theater system owners, and aims to promote next generation high-quality home audio systems.

Origin Acoustics, the manufacturer of architectural audio and the worldwide distributor of Ambisonic Systems, announced the acquisition of the Lake Havasu City, Arizona, manufacturer of performance luxury Pro and Residential loudspeaker systems. Origin Acoustics also confirmed an agreement with LK Distributing, Inc. to co-distribute Amina Sound, the British manufacturer of invisible loudspeakers in the US.

Theory Audio Design announced the iw25 high performance in-wall loudspeaker. The first of many architectural products to be announced by the brand this year, the iw25 offers a premium loudspeaker option for discreet surround sound and distributed audio installations. The new Theory accessories, including the sb Table Top Stand and sb25 Universal Mount Adapter, give Theory’s sb25 multipurpose loudspeaker and soundbars the ability to be easily mounted on credenzas, tables, walls, and ceilings.
