Sennheiser has enhanced its classic HD 280 PRO monitoring headphones with a new design and improved comfort for the wearer. The HD 280 PRO received an improved headband padding, allows better adjustment of the headband and earcups, and now conveniently folds away for transport. Visitors to the 141st AES Convention in Los Angeles were the first to try out the upgraded model.

The newly formed Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), was born with support from Grass Valley (Belden), Imagine Communications, Lawo and Snell Advanced Media and they already agreed on the audio part, with AES67.
