New High-Fidelity Speaker Brand MarkAudio-SOTA Enters the Market

Recently announcing their formal introduction to the U.S. market with a new website and the availability of its three first loudspeakers, the Viotti One, Cesti B and Cesti Tower bookshelf and tower models, MarkAudio-SOTA wants to invite audio enthusiasts to hear the difference in their designs. The company combines the talents of a team of experts from UK, Italy, China and Japan, to produce new loudspeakers designed from the ground up, with new drivers, crossovers and cabinet design.

Audioengine, from Austin, Texas, could very well be called “the sensible audio company” because their products always make sense: they have great design, sound great, are reasonably priced and they match today’s consumer profiles perfectly. Audioengine knows wireless and computer audio well and knows how, increasingly, people listen to music on a desktop or in close proximity to speakers. For that market, Audioengine released a passive version of their HD6 powered speakers.

Aerial Acoustics, T+A, Audioquest, Sunny Components and HRS will team up during T.H.E. Show Newport 2016, June 3-5, in room 1217, to create the first ever public audition of the next generation bookshelf from renowned designer Michael Kelly. The new Aerial Acoustics 5T shares the same curved cabinet construction, high gloss finish and the same 1” tweeter of the floorstanding Model 6T and Model 7T designs. Custom-made for the 5T is a new 6.7” long-stroke papyrus-blend driver.

Aerial Acoustics is expanding its loudspeaker lineup with a new small speaker, Model 5T, the launch of the 7LCR high performance on-wall / in-wall loudspeaker and the addition of the Model 7CC center channel Speaker. All three speakers are completely new designs, using new construction techniques and high quality finishes, with custom-made drivers.

Audioengine introduced its new HD6 Premium Powered Speaker System. More than just a powered speaker, the HD6 is a complete audio system with all the connections users will need to listen to today’s music. These retro looking speakers feature analog and digital inputs, wireless including AAC and aptX Bluetooth and a 24-bit digital optical (SPDIF) input.

Canadian speaker company Barn Audio Labs launched a series of handcrafted reclaimed wood speakers, proving that environmentally conscious design and performance audio engineering can result in a unique line of speakers with universal appeal.
