Your Speaker Focus Edition of audioXpress Is Now Served!

Last year RME celebrated their 20th year anniversary and announced four new products at Musikmesse 2016. One of those new devices was the RME ADI-2 Pro, a feature-packed update to the RME ADI-2 that will appeal to both mastering engineers and high-end audio aficionados alike. With the ADI-2 Pro proving popular in both pro audio and Hi-fi circles, RME now unveiled their new RME ADI-2 Pro Anniversary Edition.

During NAMM 2017, Audio AG, the worldwide distributor for RME, introduced the new RME ARC USB remote and the RME Fireface UFX II audio production interface. The new RME Fireface UFX II is now one of the most complete and affordable USB recording interfaces in the market in a compact 1RU form factor. For the more simple needs, including mobile use, the new RME Digiface USB interface is now available.

German digital audio interface specialist RME celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Frankfurt Musikmesse 2016 show and launched several new products, including the Fireface UFX+, the company’s first Thunderbolt interface and its new flagship recording solution. As RME highlighted, this Thunderbolt interface allows real PCI Express audio performance under Mac and Windows, with the lowest latency, lowest system overhead and lowest CPU load.

During the 2015 Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound shows in Frankfurt, RME introduced a new version of its Babyface portable audio interface, now called Babyface Pro. Using the slogan “reengineered | not remastered”, RME perfected the mechanics and added newly designed analog and digital circuits.

Now available on the iTunes App Store, the new TotalMix FX for iPad gives control over the mixer and effects of the supported RME audio interfaces Fireface UCX and Fireface UFX, when these devices are in Class Compliant mode. TotalMix …
