NAD Electronics unveiled another new and unique Masters Series product. The M28 is a seven-channel high performance amplifier that can serve as a powerful engine for a state-of-the-art multi-channel system for music or home theatre. And, like the recently launched M33, this reference multi-channel amplifier features Purifi’s Eigentakt (self-clocking) amplifier technology. The M28 ($4999 U.S. MSRP) is available now to order and will begin shipping in August, 2020.

Sonos Settles Another Patent Infringement Case and Agrees on Multi-Year Licensing Deal with Lenbrook

Sonos and Lenbrook Industries reached a settlement in Sonos’ patent infringement lawsuit against Lenbrook regarding the Bluesound wireless audio systems. Undisclosed terms include a multi-year licensing deal associated with all BluOS enabled solutions worldwide. This announcement comes after a patent infringement deal was also settled with Sound United regarding the Denon HEOS solutions. Sonos continues to fight in court against Google to protect its wireless audio patents.

DALI IO Headphones Combine Danish Design with ANC and Latest Wireless Technology

Introduced at IFA 2019 in September and already available in Europe, Lenbrook Americas formally announced the launch of DALI IO headphones also to the U.S. market. The new headphones reflect the combination of the Danish brand transducer expertise and design and combine all the features that consumers can expect. Two “over ear” models to start, the IO-6 ($499 U.S. MSRP) is an Active Noise Canceling (ANC) wireless headphone, while the IO-4 ($399) offers similar features and performance without ANC.
