WiSA Announces Certification of Electrocompaniet Latest EC Living TANA L-2 Speaker

WiSA, the Wireless Speaker and Audio Association founded by Summit Wireless Technologies and comprised of leading consumer electronics brands, announced the certification of EC Living’s TANA L-2 wireless speaker. The TANA L-2, set for retail launch in Summer 2019, is part of EC Living’s wireless lifestyle speaker system, a division of Norwegian company Electrocompaniet.

Infineon is the latest company to join the Wireless Speaker and Audio (WiSA) Association, the industry group dedicated to bringing high resolution, wireless, multi-channel audio products to the home theater market, assuring interoperability between wireless speakers and components. Infineon joins a strong and extensive list of members, including also GoldenEar, Electrocompaniet, Almando and Primare, as WiSA continues to expand with major audio industry suppliers, manufacturers and speaker brands.

The Wireless Speaker and Audio (WiSA) Association, an industry group dedicated to bringing high resolution, wireless, multi-channel audio products to the home theater market, announced GoldenEar, Electrocompaniet, Almando and Primare as its newest members. The four new member companies will join the strong and growing list of WiSA members that already includes LG, Harman International, VOXX International, Klipsch, Xbox, Axiim, Enclave and more.

Electrocompaniet AS announced that Peter Wellikoff has been appointed as CEO for Electrocompaniet Inc., the US subsidiary of the famous Norwegian company, as of the 1st of May 2017. Peter Wellikoff is a well-respected industry veteran with over 45 years of experience highlighted by 14 years as COO of the B&W Group, followed by six years as CEO of Meridian/Sooloos. He has numerous industry achievements and awards.

TIDAL, the Norwegian High Fidelity lossless music streaming service with HD music videos and curated editorial, announced it will launch its service in 22 new countries during the first quarter of 2015. The company also confirmed twelve home audio integration partners are already live with TIDAL, namely, Sonos, Bluesound, Linn, Simple Audio, Auralic, Mirage, Squeezebox, Amarra sQ, Mcintosh, Wadia, Electrocompaniet and Meridian.
