3rd AES International Conference On Sound Reinforcement — Open Air Venues

The 3rd AES International Conference On Sound Reinforcement — Open Air Venues, will take place in Struer, Denmark, from August 30 to September 2. This conference on sound reinforcement is a follow-up to the AES 2015 conference in Montreal and will focus on sound reinforcement in the open air. Live performances will demonstrate the most advanced and up-to-date sound systems operated by renowned sound engineers on an outdoor stage.

Previewed at an exclusive event in Munich, in May 2017, Scan-Speak has now launched the first two drivers in its Ellipticor line, combining a series of design innovations such as elliptical voice coils, resulting in lower distortion, combined with higher SPL. The first two Ellipticor drivers released by the Danish brand include the D3404/552000 tweeter and the 18WE/4542T00, a 6.5” midwoofer.

The 2016 Audio Engineering Society (AES) International Conference on Headphone Technology took place August 24-26, 2016, in Aalborg, Denmark, at the Nordkraft building - an old power station converted into a mix of community and events center near the city's new music center, Musikkens Hus. Approximately 160 registered participants had the opportunity to attend more than 40 paper and keynote presentations, while 20 companies promoted demonstrations. Following the April 2015 acquisition of TC Group by Music Group, loudspeaker manufacturer Dynaudio has announced that, from 1st November 2015, it will be distributing its professional studio monitors directly from its headquarters in Skanderborg, Denmark. Ole Jensen was appointed to head the sales and distribution operation of Dynaudio Professional.

Wilfried Ehrenholz, the founder of Dynaudio, will remain as a minority shareholder and continue to participate in Dynaudio´s product and marketing strategy. With Goertek, Dynaudio gains engineering experience in electronic and wireless technology, considered critical for the company’s latest product developments.
