Bang & Olufsen introduced Beosound Level, a portable wireless home speaker that expands the notion of what is possible with today's technology. Described by the Danish luxury audio brand as an home speaker made to move, the Beosound Level is unique in every aspect. First, it doesn't look like a speaker - but B&O has done that before. Second, its portable and able to adjust its sound to compensate for any position or room. Third, it's a connected speaker supporting all the latest technologies, but its connectivity module can be replaced in the future.

Soundboks Introduces New and Improved Gigantic Soundboks Bluetooth Speaker

When Soundboks introduced its "Bluetooth-speaker-for-parties" that looked like a Peavey guitar speaker, we couldn't stop laughing. Particularly at the suggestion that this would be a "portable" solution, loaded with battery-packs the size of a car battery (and as heavy) - the promotional images showed a guy carrying the "thing" on a backpack while riding a bicycle, and another one hiking through a mountain! Five years later, the Danish company has the last laugh with 50,000 units sold and introducing it's third-generation Soundboks speaker.

This patent submitted in 2010, was granted in 2013, and describes a compact and portable stereo loudspeaker system that is capable of providing a spacious sound field using an internal stereo pair of loudspeakers arranged in a dipole configuration. The audio test and measurement company grabbed the opportunity to join a world-class sound and acoustics growth hub in Struer, in the North of Denmark, together with other players such us Bang & Olufsen, GN Audio (Jabra) and Harman Lifestyle, among others. Sound Hub Denmark is located in an original red stone factory building with architecture dating back to 1946, and the former location of the Bang & Olufsen R&D department until 2018.
