Voyage Audio Spatial Mic Converter Plugin Updated To Include Audio Unit Compatibility

Voyage Audio, the creators of the Spatial Mic Dante and USB ambisonic microphones, have updated the Spatial Mic Converter Plugin v1.6.5 – a software update that includes Audio Unit (AU) compatibility with macOS software. This makes it easy to leverage the spatial audio capabilities of DAWs like Logic Pro. The San Diego-based company is now shipping both microphones already with the new plugin.

Nugen Audio will demo its forthcoming Halo Vision plug-in to attendees of the 2022 NAB Show. Designed for 3D, surround and immersive audio workflows, Halo Vision is a customizable, real-time visual analysis suite operating in up to 7.1.2 channels for the AAX, VST3 and AU formats. The new plugin features a variety of modules that provide audio professionals with a clearer understanding of every aspect of their sound.

Steinberg announced the immediate availability of the latest update for Cubasis 3, the mobile DAW app that brings the power of a fully-featured studio software to any mobile device and tablet, including Apple’s latest iPad Pro super-computer. Cubasis 3.3 now supports remote control of Cubasis via hardware controllers, boasts Audio Unit Multi Output, offers sidechaining capabilities, and includes many other useful additions and improvements.

Following closely on the heels of the recent launch of Reason 11, simultaneous with the announcement of Propellerhead Software becoming Reason Studios, the Swedish company announced that Reason 11 is now available to an even broader host of DAW users – including Apple Logic owners – with the addition of AU support in version Reason 11.1. The announcement further underscores the significance of the launch of Reason 11, bringing the major update to Reason Studios’ flagship music-making software to a wider global audience of music creators.

Steinberg has released a comprehensive update for its popular iOS sequencer app, Cubasis, including many enhancements as well as three in-app purchasable (IAP) effects plug-ins by Waves. Waves and Steinberg have joined forces in offering Cubasis and Cubasis LE users three in-app purchasable plugins by Waves: Q10 Equalizer, the AudioTrack channel strip plugin and the L1 Ultramaximizer level maximizer/peak limiter.

Flux has completed the migration to IRCAM SPAT v3 adding support for AVID AAX and 64 bit systems.
