Crane Song Introduces Quantum DA: Fifth Generation Converter Technology with the Debut of Avocet IIA and Solaris DAC

Crane Song confirms two new product introductions to take place at the 139th AES Convention in New York. The Avocet IIA monitor controller and Solaris DAC both make use of Crane Song’s Quantum DA fifth generation converter technology. Dave Hill, Crane Song founder and developer will introduce the new 32 bit D/A converter and its new monitor controller capable of operating in surround configurations up to 7.1.

Roland launched the Super UA, a high-performance USB 2.0 audio interface with 1-bit DSD and 32-bit PCM playback, with up to four simultaneous channels of 24-bit PCM recording and a high-performance headphone amplifier with two outputs. The Super UA features an impressive die-cast metal design with detachable breakout module.
