Designed in Sweden by the same company that also owns YEVO Labs, the Happy Plugs Air 1 Go are very affordable truly wireless earbuds targeting a consumer that cares more about looks than features, and more importantly is looking for a great design to listen to music.
Created as Happy Plugs smallest and lightest true wireless headphones, now updated with the latest Bluetooth 5 low power platform, allowing for decent pairing with any smartphone, the Air 1 Go offer a built-in microphone and a surface with 14 unique touch controls. The most important update is in the total playtime allowed per charge, claimed to be of 11 hours, with 3x that capacity available on the 400mAh battery on the charging case. The loose-fit design uses 12mm dynamic drivers but surprisingly, doesn't offer support for any other Bluetooth codec other than SBC.
“We created the Air 1 for the consumer who wants to make the leap to truly wireless," says Andreas Vural, founder of Happy Plugs. "We've combined our experience of wireless technology with a stylish shape and portability which remain faithful to the Happy Plugs' spirit of fashion tech and design."
The earbuds come with three extra silicone sleeves for a secure fit outside and in the gym, improving the seal for passive isolation. They retail for USD $49.99 and come with a charging case, and a Micro-USB charging cable. The Happy Plugs Air 1 Go are launching in Black, White, Nude, Mint and Peach, from May 20, 2020.
