Point Source Audio offers a wide range of miniature lavalier microphones that are recognized in the market for its versatility and wide range of accessories, including all kinds of adapters to support virtually every type of connector - locking type - and wireless beltpack transmitters available in the market.
The new Embrace Model EO-7 takes the same on-ear lavalier omnidirectional microphone design, tailored for compatibility with popular 2.4 GHz wireless systems from brands like Røde, DJI, Hollyland, Saramonic, Comica, and others. The earmounted miniature back electret condenser microphone is an economical solution for vloggers, podcasters, in-studio or active content, extending the innovative form factor of its PSA’s predecessors, the EO-8 and the EO-9, which are widely used in live theater and broadcast applications.
Featuring the same earmount patented design for consistent mic placement and quick concealment, this new version of the on-ear lavalier extends the professional fit and finish for creators to easily mic up for shoots with precise mic placement and optimal coverage every time, regardless of clothing, and allowing free range of motion with no loss in audio quality.

For creators striving to elevate their craft, polished audio and video production are key to building trust and engagement. The Embrace EO-7 is engineered to address these demands, helping creators achieve superior sound quality without compromising their visual presentation. The earmounted Embrace EO-7 ensures the microphone stays securely in place while remaining nearly invisible. Alternative color-changeable earmounts (available in black, brown, and beige) allow creators to switch the mic color to seamlessly blend with hair or skin tones for a discreet, polished look.
Unlike clip-on or lapel mics, the Embrace maintains precise placement, staying in its pickup pattern even during active movements or head turns. This wearing style ensures superior, uninterrupted audio clarity, but the microphone can also be used in traditional lapel fashion when preferred, simply by removing the earmount. With a standard 3.5mm termination, the Embrace EO-7 connects to popular 2.4 GHz wireless audio systems used by journalists and content creators.

At NAB 2025, Point Source Audio showcased how the Embrace EO-7 can quickly be concealed, its color adjusted, and its setup completed, benefiting from a wide range of accessories. Priced at $279 US, the Embrace EO-7 will ship in May 2025. Each Embrace EO-7 package includes one omnidirectional lavalier microphone (black color), two bendable earmounts (for left and right ear wearing), two types of matching windscreens, and a cable management clip. The three available models (Black, Brown and Beige) offer color customization of the microphone to blend with hair or skin tone.
With headquarters in Petaluma, California, and operations in Dublin, Ireland, Point Source Audio’s microphones and patented designs are trusted by Broadway sound designers, live broadcast engineers, and performers worldwide.
