The Masters Series exemplifies NAD’s belief in performance without excess. The original NAD Masters M33 was widely welcomed for combining high-end amplification with modern streaming convenience and connectivity. The M33 V2 raises the bar yet again, now incorporating MQA Labs' new FOQUS and QRONO technologies, alongside an ESS Sabre ES9039PRO DAC, a next-generation ESS ADC, and Gen 2 Purifi Eigentakt amplifier modules.
The new FOQUS (ADC) and QRONO (DAC) technologies from MQA Labs (part of Lenbrook Media Group) ensure accurate signal conversion and preserve timing, nuance, and spatial cues. The FOQUS Analog-to-Digital and QRONO Digital-to-Analog converters are based on all the original research pioneered by MQA, in an effort to remove time-domain blur and distortions. When combined with the new ESS ES9039PRO DAC, the M33 V2 achieves ultra-low distortion and wider dynamic range.
“NAD is the first company to address psychoacoustic timing issues along the entire signal path,” says Cas Oostvogel, NAD’s Product Manager. “With the M33 V2, we’ve eliminated distortion not just in the traditional sense, but in the way human ears actually perceive sound timing — delivering a listening experience that's more nuanced, more accurate, and more emotionally engaging.”

Following the M23’s reputation as a high-value, high-performance power amplifier, the M23 V2 now also features the latest Eigentakt modules from Purifi, combined with NAD’s renowned amplifier design expertise, and system-friendly enhancements. Capable of delivering 200W per channel (8 ohms) or 700W bridged, the M23 V2 is a perfect companion to the M33 V2 or M66 preamp, creating an ultra-high-performance, flexible system.
Other key enhancements include a new 12V trigger output with timed delay that simplifies daisy-chaining of multiple amps and prevents surge spikes. Featuring balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs, the M23 ensures seamless integration into a wide range of setups, also allowing for bridge operation, where the output doubles in mono mode for maximum system headroom. Due to the improved components and overall circuit design, the M23 V2 amplifier excels in terms of dynamic power, load-invariance, and musical transparency.
Used together, the M33 V2 and M23 V2 offer an end-to-end NAD solution that embodies the Masters Series philosophy: benchmark innovation, intuitive control, and sonic performance that rivals boutique brands — without the boutique markup. Whether employed in a 2-channel reference system, a high-performance smart home setup, or a premium multiroom installation, these components will deliver unmatched results.

“The future of hifi lies not just in lowering distortion, but in understanding how humans perceive sound,” adds Oostvogel. “We’ve optimized timing — from file source, to DAC, to amplifier, to your room. That’s where the magic and true enjoyment happens.”
Both the M33 V2 and M23 V2 feature elegant aluminium chassis with magnetic iso-point feet and precision-machined detailing. Inside, every circuit, module, and layout reflects a focus on precision and system flexibility.
The NAD M33 V2 will be available on August 11, 2025, with an MSRP of USD $5,999 / EUR €6,499. The NAD M23 V2 will be available on the same date, with an MSRP of USD $3,999 / EUR €4,499.
