LinearFlux Debuts HyperSonic 360 TWS Earbuds with Magnetic Wireless Charging Battery Case

LinearFlux, a mobile accessories company that specializes in battery packs and chargers, has been expanding its offerings with true wireless earbuds for active lifestyles. Now, the company announced their new HyperSonic 360 TWS design that combines a MagSafe-compatible magnetic wireless charging battery case for a total of 360+ hours of playtime. The interesting design offers the advantages a fully-featured battery pack with capacity display, safely holding the earbuds while recharging.

The LinearFlux HyperSonic 360 (SRP: $139.00) is touted as "the world's only 10-in-1 Magnetic, Hyper Definition True Wireless Headphone System featuring 360+ hours of playtime." This could be more simply described as earbuds with a very powerful case, or a large battery with bonus earbuds, but the design is certainly unique and deserves attention for the integration. The 10-in-1 reference alludes to the fact that the HyperSonic 360 design combines Earbuds, MagSafe Charger, Charging Cable, Wireless Charging Pad, Magnetic Desk Mount, USB charger, USB-C PD fast charger, Car Mount, and a high-capacity charging case.

But being earbuds, of course we are interested to learn more about the audio qualities of the devices. LinearFlux mentions the fact that the Hypersonic 360 earbuds' hallmark feature is the "new Hyper Definition Spatial Engine that enhances music clarity for a superior, theater-like 3D sound experience." We are not certain if this products needs more differentiating features, but that description doesn't help. Particularly when it clarifies that this is basically a carefully tuned "sound engine" to enhance the audio from popular streaming services. Not reassuring.

Neither are the company's claims that LinearFlux founders are "world-renowned for creating revolutionary headphones with class-leading professional level acoustics, collaborating with music industry giants like Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, Lady Gaga, and others." But definitely "Hyper Definition Spatial Engine" sounds like something that Monster would use :)

From a design and convenience perspective, the breakthrough innovation is in fact the seamless earbud case that 'magnetically snaps' to the back of a smartphone. And the fact that the HyperSonic earbuds stow away discretely in their own self-enclosed canopy in the case. But once again the company's marketing department lost it when they decided to call the design "inspired" by the "limited-edition Ferrari Monza." No need.

In fact the case's exquisite soft touch finish, the large digital display, a 29 Watt-hour energy reserve with full MagSafe compatibility and magnetic wireless charging, are way more relevant that any other taglines or automotive references. The HyperSonic 360 battery can even charge a smartphone from 0 to 50% in as little as 25 minutes and with its energy reserve it offers a class-topping 360+ hours of playtime on the earbuds. That means going away for two weeks and always having the earbuds ready.

In fact, this is an ideal combo for traveling. A 5-minute recharge of the earbuds provides up to one hour of playtime. With its advanced magnetics, a smartphone and HyperSonic 360 can be mounted together onto a magnetic car or desk mount holder. The included HyperMag magnetic cable allows 'fumble-free' simultaneous recharging of the HyperSonic 360 and smartphone.

With Qi-wireless compatibility, iPX6 sweat and water-resistant protection, the HyperSonic 360 system also adapts to any active lifestyle. As the ultimate "go-anywhere" device that users can rely on for music listening and calls, the earbuds' internal microphone with beamforming helps improve and strengthen voice clarity, using one or both earbuds. Plus, the earbuds also support configurable touch controls for taking calls, volume and track control, or summoning any smart assistant.

And there's also a sustainable argument for this 10-in-1 design. "LinearFlux understands the impact that all our electronic gadgets have on the environment. The HyperSonic 360's innovative 10-in-1 design means less singular function products finding their way in landfills and oceans. We're committed to creating products that enrich people's lives and empower them to do great things," says LinearFlux CEO, Einstein Galang.

Founded in 2014, LinearFlux is headquartered in San Francisco, and its first product was the LithiumCard ultra-fast charger, using the company's proprietary Hypercharger technology. Today, LinearFlux offers two lines of mobile products: HyperChargers for power/accessories, and HyperSonic for audio. The complete line of LinearFlux products is distributed globally.
