Announced in April 2021, the Evo by Cambridge Audio is a new all-in-one music player with integrated amplifier, available in 150 and 75 watts per channel versions, powered by Hypex NCore modules. The Evo design combines cutting edge technology for wired and wireless connectivity in order to support all the possible sound sources and latest streaming services. And the Evo is offered into one streamlined and compact system with interchangeable side panels, designed by Ged Martin.
At the time of the announcement, Cambridge Audio teased with the possibility of introducing a pair of simple bookshelf speakers to create a complete solution with matching aesthetics. The Evo S speakers are designed in Cambridge Audio’s London HQ with the aim of offering a great-looking and great-sounding option for all living spaces, and as a matching pair of speakers for owners of the Evo all-in-one player. They complete the “just add speakers” ethos of Evo.
From the black silk dome tweeter to the mid-bass driver, from the anodized aluminum baffle to gold electroplated speaker binding posts, every component of Evo S was designed and constructed to perform at the highest quality. The speakers are built with premium materials and are available in a minimal black finish.
