Four Days of Exhibition, Keynotes, and Conferences at ISE 2016

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) takes place February 9–12, 2016, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. ISE is now larger than InfoComm and CEDIA, the two associations behind this European show, and the 2016 edition, expanded to four days, will feature an expanded exhibition, keynotes, conferences and features for the AV and audio industry. Exhibits will also expand to occupy all halls and areas of the Amsterdam RAI.

The award ceremony was held on Saturday, January 23 during the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA. As always, the important thing is to be nominated, since the TEC Award categories combine products which are very hard to compare and, most of the time, the winners reflect the popularity of the brand.

Qualcomm Introduces aptX HD High Resolution Audio Codec over Bluetooth

Following the conclusion of its CSR acquisition in August 2015, Qualcomm had much more technology to show at CES 2016, including the launch of the new Qualcomm aptX HD enhanced codec, building on the existing aptX audio codec platform, now supporting 24 bit music quality over a Bluetooth wireless connection. Qualcomm states the enhanced audio codec will help manufacturers make wireless high resolution audio a reality.
