Avid Unveils New MBOX USB-C Desktop Interface for Music Production and Recording at Home

At the AES Show 2022 in New York City, Avid announced a new USB-C desktop audio interface that it named MBOX in reference to the many Mbox audio interfaces that helped make Pro Tools popular among whole generations of creative users. The 2022 MBOX Studio is a valuable hardware option for Pro Tools software, with a desktop format that makes it practical for home studios, podcasting and streaming applications. It's not a very refined design, it offers big knobs instead of faders, and Avid specifies it as "USB-C 2.0" which shows that they don't really care.
