Prism Sound Embraces ASIO Direct Monitoring (ADM) For Key Interface Products

In a move that will significantly improve the end user experience for its audio interface customers, Prism Sound has upgraded four of its key products to ensure that they all support ASIO Direct Monitoring (ADM). The company’s Titan, Atlas and Lyra audio interfaces and its SADiE workstation software now include ADM, which allows mixers in the interface device to be controlled automatically from Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software.

CT Lab Global Media announced that its official mid-year conference and technology showcase, CE Week, will take place June 20 - 21 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The change in venue was a decision made shortly after the creation of CT Lab Global Media, a new business entity that resulted from a partnership between IFA, the world’s largest consumer electronics show, and CE Week's promoter, NAPCO Media.

Music streaming service Deezer has announced its own song recognition feature SongCatcher, offering an integrated choice for users who want to find out the names of particular songs or artists when listening to music. A similar feature as offered by popular apps Shazam (recently acquired by Apple), and SoundHound, Deezer sees an advantage on implementing the recognition functionality directly in its player.
