Nureva Announces Availability of its HDL300 Audio Conferencing System
Nureva announced general availability of its highly anticipated HDL300 audio conferencing system, featuring the company's Microphone Mist technology. Following a presentation a year ago, the company will launch the new integrated microphone and speaker bar for huddle rooms at InfoComm 2017. The Canadian company is also announcing a North American dealer recruitment initiative for its HDL300 system, creating opportunities for resellers.
Bose Professional Introduces Panaray MSA12X Modular Steerable Array Loudspeaker and New MB210 Compact Subwoofer
Bose Professional announced the introduction of its Panaray MSA12X Modular Steerable Array Loudspeaker, a slim, self-powered acoustic design in a columnar line array configuration. To complement its background/foreground music and small sound-reinforcement systems, Bose Professional is also introducing the new MB210 compact subwoofer, providing a low-frequency extension down to 37 Hz, to complement its FreeSpace, Panaray, and RoomMatch Utility loudspeaker models.

Edgar van Velzen Named as New beyerdynamic CEO
With effect from 1 June 2017, the Administrative Board of beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG has named Dutchman Edgar van Velzen (51) as the company’s new managing director and CEO. Together with Wolfgang Luckhardt (57), long-standing managing director, he is now at the helm of the Heilbronn-based, German audio specialist. Cypress Semiconductor announced availability of a new USB-C controller with Power Delivery (PD) optimized for Thunderbolt notebook and desktop PCs, as well as docking stations. The EZ-PD CCG5 controller is the industry's first two-port USB-C controller that supports the Thunderbolt alternate mode with Intel's Thunderbolt 3 (Alpine Ridge) controllers. This is a programmable, highly-integrated controller that allows designers to easily add Thunderbolt alternate mode and USB Power Delivery 3.0 to USB-C ports in the PC ecosystem.
