TDK Redefines True Wireless Stereo Applications with VibeSense360 Solution Suite

TDK Corporation announced the availability of its InvenSense VibeSense360 TWS solution suite, previewed at CES 2023. VibeSense360 is a comprehensive portfolio of TDK hardware and software solutions designed to help solve some of the most complicated problems OEMs face when designing true wireless stereo (TWS) products with state-of-the-art features. On the hardware VibeSense360 includes the TWS-M601 6-axis IMU, and the TWS-M602 device, combining IMU, accelerometer and machine learning on-chip.

CEVA unveiled Bluebud, a highly-integrated wireless audio platform aimed at standardizing DSP-enabled Bluetooth audio IP for fast-growing applications, including True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, hearables, gaming headsets, smartwatches and other wearable devices. The solution fully supports Bluetooth 5.2 and LE Audio design and is ready to support brands in the transition from Bluetooth Classic.

7 Sensing Software, an embedded software development company active in audio processing and machine learning targeting wearable and hearable applications, announced that it joined the Qualcomm Extension Program. With this confirmation, 7 Sensing Software is now able to offer its Hearing Augmentation and Pure Voice solutions for wireless earbuds and headsets running on the ultra low power, premium-tier Qualcomm QCC5100 Bluetooth SoC family.

While many Chinese companies have focused on developing true wireless earbuds with a combination of features that emulates the most popular models in the market, the young team of developers at Shenzen-based Timekettle have focused instead on one of the most hyped features for hearables: real time translation. After multiple models and several campaigns on crowdfunding platforms, Timekettle has now confirmed its WT2 Plus model ($239.99 USD) will support offline translation.
