Swedish digital audio processing pioneer Dirac and leading multinational chipset maker BES announced a partnership to pre-integrate the Dirac Virtuo and Dirac Opteo software onto BES chipsets to be used by leading headphone manufacturers to deliver optimized performance in any headphone type. The announcement was made at CES 2023, where it was confirmed that boAt, Monoprice, and Sudio are the first headphone brands to leverage these Dirac-enabled BES chipsets in their devices.

The latest earbuds from Nura mark the first collaboration between the two companies and demonstrate Dirac’s growing leadership position in the headphone market – after establishing its technology in the automotive, home theater, and mobile markets. The NuraTrue Pro earbuds are now fully funded on Kickstarter.

Dirac Introduces Spatial Audio Solution for Direct Chipset Integration Into Next-Generation Wireless Headphones

Swedish digital audio pioneer Dirac announced that its latest spatial audio solution, which leverages the company's patented Dynamic HRTF technology, is now available for direct integration into the digital signal processors (DSP) of Bluetooth wireless headphones. The solution is now compatible with chipsets from Qualcomm, BES, and MediaTek and allows headphone manufacturers to deliver spatial audio to consumers, independent of playback devices or media players.
