PreSonus Unveils Third-Generation StudioLive Series III Consoles

The result of nine years of R&D, PreSonus’ new third-generation StudioLive Series III digital console/recorders are fully recallable. At NAMM 2017, the new series launched with two models: the 16-channel StudioLive 16, with 17 touch-sensitive, motorized faders and 17 recallable XMAX preamps and the top-of-the-line StudioLive 32, with 33 touch-sensitive, motorized faders and 33 recallable XMAX preamps.

The new Avid Venue S6L is a fully modular, scalable live sound mixing system that delivers best-in-class functionality for a range of live sound mixing applications, including front-of-house, monitor, broadcast, theater, and more. The networkable modular live sound system meets the demands of large size productions.

Waves Audio has launched its anticipated Waves Tracks Live multitrack recording software solution for live sound applications, allowing switching between recording and virtual soundcheck. The company also announced its new H-Reverb, a pioneering reverb based on Finite Impulse Response technology.

Expanding on previous concepts in digital mixing, the all-new Mackie DL32R Digital Live Sound Mixer delivers complete wireless control of a powerful 32-channel digital mixing platform. The solution also allows control over dynamics and recording from a simple professional I/O rackmount design and features USB direct-to-disk recording and playback.
