Panasonic Introduces New Technics Products at IFA 2015 and Promises Improved Direct Drive Analog Turntable

With an eye on 2016 commercial launch, Panasonic introduced a new prototype of its popular Technics turntable, which the company says will feature an improved Direct Drive system. At IFA 2015, Panasonic also promised “the lifestyles we all desire” with several new Technics audio components, among many new products in other categories.

Just before the annual IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards, featuring more than 20 audio categories have been announced. Winners for 2015-2016 include Hi-Fi, mobile, home-theater and in-car products.

Established as a leading event for audiophiles, manufacturers of high-end audio equipment, musicians, and music lovers alike, Audio Expo North America (AXPONA) returns to Chicago April 24-26 for its third straight year. The show will feature Audio Con seminars and live music performances, the Ear Gear Expo (EGX) showcase for headphones and associated equipment, and the AXPONA Marketplace.
