Celestion Offers DIY Cabinet Design for the F12-X200 Guitar Loudspeaker Modeling Driver

Celestion offers a DIY cabinet reference design made specifically for the F12-X200 Full Range Live Response Loudspeaker. The F12-X200 combines Celestion’s expertise in guitar speakers and pro audio speakers into one transducer, designed especially for use with profiling amps, modeling software, impulse responses, and all technology for emulating guitar amps and speaker cabinets. The reference design will allow anyone to build a custom 1x12 cabinet for the F12-X200.

Eminence Speakers launched the digital version of its legendary guitar speakers — Eminence Impulse Response (IR) library — developed in conjunction with the highly respected amplifier profiler and guitarist, Michael Britt. This announcement follows the trend from guitar speaker manufacturers to release official IR files of its own best-selling models to support the growing trend of amplifier profilers and emulators, as well as studio production.

Celestion announced a new way for users to acquire and build upon their library of Impulse Responses, the company’s authentic digitally downloadable speaker tones. The new Pick & Mix option, which is available in combinations of either 3 or 5 cabinets from the company’s full range of IRs, offers complete flexibility in the way users can choose to build their personal IR library at a significant savings compared to purchasing individual IRs.
