Devialet Introduces Devialet Mania Portable Smart Speaker

Devialet dropped another surprise product, this time with a new compact smart speaker that is also the brand's first custom-designed battery-operated multiroom wireless speaker. Inheriting technology from the unique Devialet Phantom, the new Mania features adaptive cross stereo that generates expansive 360° stereo sound, with a soundstage that morphs and adapts to any physical space. The Mania is Alexa-enabled and powered by four ARM Cortex-A53 1.4Ghz processors.

Since its release, Devialet’s flagship compact speaker Phantom established a new reference in home audio. By combining a radical design with a series of innovative, proprietary technologies, Phantom consistently shattered expectations in terms of sound reproduction, while establishing a whole new business model for the French brand. Now, for 2021, Devialet updated the original Phantom with a new audio processing SoC, new matte finishes, and all the latest wireless audio technologies.

With China resuming production capabilities and companies back to work, the barrage of products that had been scheduled to be unveiled or launched at MWC Barcelona 2020 are now being announced. Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei unveiled its latest smartphone together with a new wireless speaker, co-designed with French audio company Devialet. Announced to the world during an "online product release event," the all-new Huawei-Devialet joint wireless speaker stands-out for the electro-acoustic design and the patently intent to copy the Apple HomePod.
