Apogee Launches Jam+ Third Generation Instrument Input Interface for iOS, Mac and PC

Apogee Electronics announced a new much improved version of its Jam portable interface. The all new Jam+ is a studio grade USB instrument input and output that connects an electric guitar, bass, keyboard or any acoustic instrument with a pickup, directly to any iOS device, Mac, or Windows PC. With an adapter (sold separately) users can also connect a dynamic microphone. The new third generation version adds a stereo output to connect headphones or powered speakers, offers low latency monitoring, and now comes bundled with the Positive Grid BIAS FX Jam emulation software.

COMSOL announced the latest version of COMSOL Multiphysics Version 5.4, which in addition to two new products provides performance improvements and additional modeling tools. The latest version of COMSOL Multiphysics features COMSOL Compiler, giving specialists the freedom to distribute their simulation applications through executable files, and the Composite Materials Module for layered structures analysis. For acoustics modeling applications, the update introduces acoustic ports and nonlinear acoustics Westervelt model.
