RHA Introduces CL2 Planar Magnetic Bluetooth Headphones

RHA has released the world’s first planar magnetic wireless headphones, the CL2 Planar, which also come with premium wired cable options in a precision engineered package with luxury materials, remarkable sound quality and beautiful finish. The new RHA CL2 Planar are now available for pre-sale online for €799.95/$899.95/(ROW $995.95), with deliveries expected from September 12. Full charging of the Bluetooth neckband is done via USB-C in just 1.5 hours.

RHA has expanded its wireless headphone range with a new entry-level Bluetooth 4.1 model packed with premium features, for a very affordable price. The new RHA MA390 Wireless features a lightweight, understated design that delivers 8-hour battery life, 10m range and ability to sync with two devices at once. Using a single custom dynamic driver, the MA390 Wireless allows users to switch between music, calls and digital assistant functions at the touch of a button.

The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards 2017-2018 have been announced. Already listed at www.eisa.eu, the EISA Awards 2017-18 recognize performance and innovation in Consumer Electronics, including audio categories in hi-fidelity, home theater and mobile. This year the awards have a strong European flavor in the higher end home categories, with Japan and Asia in general dominating the home theater items. Exception for a US brand, JBL takes two awards in personal audio.

British audio specialist RHA has announced that it will launch three new products as part of a collection of high-resolution personal audio equipment at IFA 2016. The new range includes the company’s first portable DAC and headphone amplifier, the Dacamp L1, and two high-resolution in-ear headphones, the flagship CL1 Ceramic and the stainless steel CL750. All three products will be available to audition at IFA 2016 in Berlin from 2-7 September, ahead of going on sale in October 2016.

Hearing Components, the manufacturer of Comply Foam Tip products, has announced a partnership with Sennheiser to develop a custom tip to fit specifically on the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear (MIE2), CX 3.00, and CX 5.00 earphone models. This custom Comply Premium Foam tip is now available exclusively on the US Sennheiser website, with a one-pair and a three-pair pack option for $6.99 and $15.99, respectively.
