AudioSourceRE Sets New Standard for Real-Time, AI-Powered Audio Separation

Originally presented at the Audio Engineering Society (AES) New York convention in 2018, the release of the DeMIX Pro software established a strong new contender in the field of audio separation. Meanwhile, AudioSourceRE has used machine learning to take the concept further, while the latest version 5 of DeMIX Pro and DeMIX Essentials has set a new standard for AI-powered audio separation, making the unimaginable totally possible. Now, AudioSourceRE is working to offer the same technology, running in real-time embedded systems!

iZotope has released Audiolens, a new desktop software that makes track referencing and comparison simple by collecting and analyzing reference track data directly from any streaming platform or audio source without the need for downloading media files or setting up tedious audio routing setups. The new app allows track comparisons by analyzing audio directly from any audio source and integrating with iZotope's plug-ins Neutron 4 and Ozone 10 to help users match sonic characteristics within their own mixes and masters.

Dolby Laboratories and Universal Music Group (UMG), announced special listening events for The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album, remixed in Dolby Atmos at the illustrious Abbey Road Studios in London, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic album. Listening events will take place at select cinemas in the United States and Canada.
