iZotope Launches Spire Studio Complete Portable Recording System for Musicians

In a surprising move, audio technology software and processing algorithm experts iZotope have announced a new hardware product. Spire Studio is a versatile, wireless system that enables songwriters and musicians to capture, edit, and collaborate seamlessly – at home, or on the road. Inspired by the recognition that great music can come from anywhere, iZotope designed Spire to go everywhere, offering portable, professional-quality multi-track recording in a sleek, powerful device.

Shure released a new version of its ShurePlus MOTIV Mobile Recording App, designed for use with the company’s MOTIV Digital Condenser Microphones. Version 1.1 of this iOS app offers a host of new features, including five-band EQ and gain adjustment controls for the MV51 Digital Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone, the MV5 Digital Condenser Microphone, and MVi Digital Audio Interface.

Australian pro-audio manufacturer RØDE has announced an exciting array of new products at the annual IBC show in Amsterdam, including microphones, a digital interface, two boom poles and a new wireless audio kit. Targeting both Apple iOS devices and professional audio solutions, wireless and wired, RØDE continues to innovate in every single product category.

Propellerhead Software announced the release of Take 2.0, the greatly anticipated update to their creative free vocal recorder.
