Listen Launches SoundCheck Version 22 with Python Integration and Many New Features

Listen released SoundCheck 22. This update introduces many new features focusing on integration and flexibility for both production and R&D users. These include a new Python Integration module which enables SoundCheck to communicate with many devices and software programs using Python scripts, a new crest factor algorithm, a new multi-channel FFT analyzer, and additional post-processing tools. There are also significant upgrades to the statistics functionality, signal generator, metadata and more. SoundCheck 22 also operates on Apple Silicon processors with significant performance advantages.

GRAS Sound & Vibration, announced the new GRAS EQ 40PM-1 microphone. This new miniature microphone joins the already successful family of GRAS measurement microphones with EQset technology, lowering the cost of precision in production line acoustic measurements. GRAS EQset technology essentially guarantees fixed sensitivity and a flat response curve across all frequencies, out of the box, vastly reducing the risk of measurement errors. The GRAS EQ 40PM-1 with EQset is an upgraded version of the EQ 40PM, the first in the EQset line.

GRAS Launches EQ 40PM EQset Miniature Production Line Measurement Microphone

GRAS Sound & Vibration announced a new miniature production line microphone, which is the first with the recently announced GRAS EQset technology designed to reduce the risk of measurement errors. The new EQ 40PM EQset, a short 20kHz pressure microphone with a dynamic range from 30dB (A) to 120dB, and the same dimensions as traditional Production Line microphones, is aimed at increasing efficiency and improving test accuracy in the consumer audio and telecom space.
