THAT Corporation Appoints Denis Labrecque to Lead IC Sales

THAT Corporation, the leading vendor of high-quality audio integrated circuits (ICs) from Massachusetts, announced the appointment of industry veteran Denis Labrecque as IC Sales Manager. In this role, Denis will lead THAT’s global IC Sales organization, as well as manage THAT’s worldwide network of IC distributors and representatives.

WiSA, the Wireless Speaker and Audio Association founded by Summit Wireless Technologies, announced the certification of two products from Primare’s Prisma line, including the SC15, a compact, full-featured system control and network player providing high quality sound and performance, and the PRE35, a fully balanced stereo preamplifier with DAC and network modules. Both products from the Scandinavian company are available now.

THAT Corporation announced three new programmable preamplifiers with integrated ADC drivers. The family includes three products with different gain-step sizes: the 6261, 6263, and 6266 at 1dB, 3dB, and 6dB per step, respectively. The new THAT626x family increases integration and lowers power for low-noise digitally controlled microphone preamplifiers.

McIntosh Laboratory, has announced three new preamplifiers – the C1100, C52 and C47 – all made at the company's factory in Binghamton NY, following the brand’s signature design. The C1100 features a separate controller and tube preamplifier, and the C52 and C47, offer phono preamps and built-in DACs, featuring PCM, DSD256, and DXD up to 384kHz.
