CTA Confirms First CES 2020 Innovation Awards Announcements

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) officially kicked off CES season with traditional CES Unveiled events in New York, Paris and Amsterdam. Attendees to these invitation-only celebrations heard exclusive CES announcements and experienced emerging tech trends that will dominate the CES 2020 show floor Jan. 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. More importantly, these events kicked off the annual CES 2020 Innovation Awards announcements, which will be expanded and confirmed until the Las Vegas show opens in January.

POW Audio is a new audio brand focused on reimagining ultra-portable, omnidirectional speakers through its patented expandable-chamber WaveBloom technology. Following a very successful introduction of the concept at CES 2019, the company now announced the first two of three products in its Una line, a suite of Bluetooth speakers that boast premium, high-output sound and ultra-portability. The Una and Una X are both ideal for listening at home, a beach vacation, event gathering or day by the pool.

POW Audio, the portable audio brand that is reimagining compact speakers through its patented WaveBloom technology, announced it has hired Gregg Stein as its chief revenue officer. In his role, Stein will oversee POW Audio’s growth, global sales and partnerships for its inaugural product, the Mo expandable wireless speaker, and all upcoming new expandable speaker and audio products.

POW Audio, a new brand specializing in portable audio, is trying to reimagine Bluetooth speaker construction and capabilities through its transformational, ultra-portable designs. At CES 2019, the company will be previewing Mo, the first release in its larger family of products. This new ultra-compact speaker uses the company’s patented WaveBloom technology, which expands to create an air-filled wave chamber resulting in demonstrably better resonance and increased volume.
