Mackie Introduces DLZ Creator All-in-One Podcast Mixer and Interface

Beyerdynamic announced four new products that will appeal to creative professionals - two new headphones and two microphones. Audio-Technica launched its new AT2040 Hypercardioid Dynamic Podcast Microphone. The new microphone takes inspiration from Audio-Technica’s acclaimed BP40 Large-Diaphragm Dynamic Broadcast Microphone, and focuses on delivering the right features for vocal reproduction at an affordable price point, aiming at podcasters and content creators in general. The rugged AT2040 uses it's own dynamic hypercardioid capsule to minimize room noise, and features an internal shock mount and pop filter.

With podcasting popularity on the rise, as more and more users learn to balance music streaming services with a sprinkle of favorite talk shows, interviews and commentary, brands are also launching new podcasting production solutions. Japanese brand Zoom introduced the PodTrak P4, a new mobile recorder for podcasting that features a four channel mixer and USB-C audio interface. And to complete the solution, Zoom introduced the new ZDM-1 Podcast Mic Pack, including the ZDM-1 large-diaphragm dynamic microphone and ZHP-1 professional closed-back headphones.

The company also announced that a classroom-appropriate version will be available to schools.
