Dirac Live Bass Management Makes Residential AV Market Debut at CEDIA 2019

Swedish sound processing pioneer Dirac announced the residential AV market debut of Dirac Live Bass Management, a unique room acoustics solution that optimizes a system’s subwoofers and speakers to deliver consistent, accurate bass throughout an entire room. The introduction will be made at CEDIA 2019, at Colorado Convention Center in Denver, where Arcam, JBL Synthesis, NAD Electronics and StormAudio will be also the first manufacturers to feature Dirac Live Bass Management in their AV products.

NAD Electronics, the acclaimed high fidelity audio brand, particularly recognized for its innovations in amplifiers, announced that it will be the first international brand to incorporate and launch Purifi’s new patent-pending class-D technology into its product family. The announcement was made at the opening of another edition of the High End 2019 show, in Munich, Germany. NAD will license Purifi’s patent-pending amplification technology to create its next-generation amplifier platform.

MQA, the pioneering company delivering authenticated master quality music in a file small enough to stream, will be participating in the Master Class series and supporting its many partners at AXPONA 2019. Attendees can learn more about MQA’s technology and experience master quality sound at partner booths across the show, taking place 12-14 April at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center, near Chicago. There will also be some exclusive streaming and download promotions on offer to attendees.

Strengthening its commitment to provide an unparalleled home theater listening experience, NAD Electronics announced a strategic partnership with Swedish sound enhancement technology specialists, Dirac Research. The partnership will incorporate the Dirac Live room correction solution into upcoming, select products in NAD Electronics’ Masters and Custom Install lines, designed and manufactured by Lenbrook International.

NAD Electronics announced that MQA music will be supported on select BluOS-enabled NAD components, including its recently expanded Master Series. The Latest BluOS firmware will power select high performance NAD models with MQA for studio quality music streams in the home. On the announcement, the company says: “NAD is proud to partner with MQA to introduce high-end audio consumers to this revolutionary end-to-end technology that captures and delivers master quality audio in a file that’s small enough to stream or download.”

For NAD Electronics, the 2016 High End show, in Munich, Germany was all about the excitement of high-performance and high resolution audio. Complementing the five existing Master Series components, NAD announced two new additions, the M32 Direct Digital Amplifier and M50.2 Digital Music Player, both running the brand’s dedicated BluOS operating system with support for popular music services and High Resolution Audio.
