NAB Show and Audio Engineering Society to Co-locate 2021 Conventions In Las Vegas

The 2021 Audio Engineering Society (AES) fall convention will co-locate with NAB Show, October 11–13, 2021, this time in Las Vegas. The co-location brings together the premiere convention for pro audio professionals with the world's largest convention encompassing media, entertainment and technology. The AES Show will take place at the Westgate Hotel, adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center where NAB Show will be held October 9–13, 2021.

Event and trade show promoters still have a business - and it has nothing to do with media, content, or education. They are not supposed to try and do what companies should do themselves, much less become a sort of "closed-circuit broadcaster," social media booster, or podcast promoter. Talking to a closed circuit is exactly the reason why companies need a trade show: to break the loop. That is also the reason why companies need media - to amplify their messages and reach new buyers and markets.

The burgeoning podcast medium will be the focus of a new conference program, show floor pavilion and recording studio at the 2018 NAB Show, April 7-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The annual convention is the world’s largest event encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment and technology. Sessions and exhibits will take place at the new Podcast Pavillion area, featuring leading podcasters and highlighting the medium’s growth and opportunities.
