AES Show 150th International Convention Heyser Lecture and Keynote Presenters Announced

The Audio Engineering Society has announced new Keynote and Heyser Lecture presentation details for the upcoming AES Show Spring 2021 Convention special events series, streamcast online, May 25 – 28. Keynote speakers will include audio science and technology innovators Lenise Bent, Marina Bosi and Eelco Grimm, with this Convention’s Heyser Memorial Lecture being given by hearing and psychoacoustics pioneer Diana Deutsch.

Following its 2020 Board of Directors and Board of Governors elections, the Audio Engineering Society confirmed that the 2021 Audio Engineering Society Board of Directors will include Jonathan Wyner (President), Agnieszka Roginska (Past-President), Joshua Reiss (new President-Elect), Valerie Tyler (Secretary), Glenn Lorbecki (Treasurer), Marina Bosi (Treasurer-Elect) and Alex Kosiorek (Director). One additional Director will be named by the Board of Governors per the recently amended AES Bylaws.

The 147th Audio Engineering Society International Pro Audio Convention rocked the Javits Center with four days of everything audio. Under the banner Inspire, the association's annual family reunion returned to New York City’s Javits Center, where inspiration was abundant as leading audio innovators shared their knowledge and experience alongside gear designed to spark creativity and imagination while enhancing productivity.

The Audio Engineering Society (AES) Milan 144th International Convention, May 23–26, 2018, was a small but well-attended event, extremely enjoyable for all those that participated. As always, a mix of audio industry professionals, students, educators, and top brands and audio service providers from around the world met "for the purpose of advancing the art and science of audio engineering."
