Roon Announces New Partner Devices and Online Store

Audinate, the developer and licensor of the industry-leading Dante audio-over-IP technology, has announced the availability of Dante Ready, a new licensing program that allows the ability to purchase and add channels of Dante audio to supported products in the field. Dante Ready allows manufacturers to lower costs at the time of product release, and gives their customers the ability to purchase only the channels that are required for an application.

According to research from RH Consulting, 3,034 Dante-enabled devices are available from 361 different manufacturers as of January 2021. The data from RH Consulting indicates Dante is the protocol of choice in more than 91 percent of the networked audio products currently on the market.
