Swiss Manufacturer Stenheim Now Available in North America

Stenheim, the Switzerland-based speaker company distinguished for its solid aluminum cabinets and superior components in elegant designs is now available in North America, through US-based distributor Nexus Audio Technologies. The announcement was followed by the introduction and availability of Stenheim's latest models in US and Canada, including the Stenheim Alumine Two.Five and the Reference Ultime Two speakers. Not for the faint of heart.

Swiss luxury audio manufacturer Goldmund, a name synonymous with precision and opulence, introduced its latest "entry-level" marvel, the Melos Active Wireless Loudspeakers. The Swiss company is celebrating its 70th anniversary in style with a limited edition product. The Nagra Reference Anniversary turntable is the product of a major research and development project. And like the original Nagra recorders, the Nagra Reference Anniversary turntable was designed to be cherished by generations. Only 70 units will be available, and each includes “in home” setup and dial-in by Nagra factory specialists. Owners will also be invited for a VIP tour to the Nagra factory.

Swiss manufacturer PSI Audio announced a new version of its flagship three-way speaker A25-M for 2021. Following on the improvements announced in 2019 with the flow guide introduced in the A23-M monitor, and a larger, more powerful woofer engine, the A25-M boasts an entirely new midrange driver. The Extended Dome Driver (EXD) combines a larger dome and new cone formula, effectively offering the best of both worlds in the process. The new driver system is still mounted to a rotatable baffle to enable vertical or horizontal speaker placement at optimum dispersion.

A perfect companion for your hifi system at home or in your studio was the way Sonosax introduced the idea for the new SX-DD2. Unveiled almost 3 years ago as an "upcoming project," when Sonosax celebrated its 40th anniversary, the SX-DD2 is a universal, mains powered, studio-quality preamplifier, capable of processing virtually any audio signal, digital or analog, even the output of a turntable. Now, Jacques Sax confirms the new design will start shipping in Spring 2021.

The Swiss cable manufacturer VOVOX is restructuring its cable range. With effect from 1 October 2019, the company will be presenting a completely revised product portfolio. The most important novelty of this groundbreaking step includes the consolidation of the previously separated Home Audio and Professional Audio divisions with the accompanying streamlining of the current product lineup. A world premiere not to be missed at Axpona 2019 (April 12-14) in Chicago, or for those attending the Shanghai SIAV 2019 Show (also April 12-14), Stenheim will be unveiling its latest Alumine Three speaker, the product of many years of research and understanding of audio technology.
