Gaudio Lab Audio Technologies Recognized with Two CES 2023 Innovation Awards

Gaudio Lab, the innovative audio technology solutions company from Seoul, South Korea, received two CES 2023 Innovation Awards ahead of the company's presentation at the world's biggest consumer technology trade show, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, 5-8 January, 2023. Gaudio Lab was honored with two awards for its Loudness Management 1 (LM1) technology, and for the Gaudio Spatial Audio (GSA) audio software for wireless earbuds.

Berlin-based software house zplane.development released FENNEK - a new peak and loudness metering solution designed to help keep track of audio levels and deliver mixes that comply with broadcast and streaming standards. With a highly customizable interface and a loudness history view, FENNEK is a fresh new take at audio metering software, allowing visual supervision of signals and processes, combined with intelligent adjustment of peaks and loudness matching any intended use.

Weiss Engineering launched a firmware update for its Weiss DAC502 and DAC501, D/A converters with DSP, and the dedicated DSP501 and DSP502 DSP and network renderer models. With that update, unveiled in July 2021, the Swiss company introduced advanced Headphone EQ profiles for selected Audeze models. The Californian headphone manufacturer now recommends it as "the perfect combination for mastering engineers and producers."

The Institut für Rundfunktechnik (IRT), the central research and development institute of the public broadcasters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and DSPECIALISTS GmbH, a company specialized in the development and distribution of products for digital audio signal processing and measurement technology, have established a cooperation agreement focused on high-quality loudness control. DSPECIALISTS already ported the IRT loudness adjustment algorithm to its HARVEY signal processing platform.
